Agria Launches Lifetime Insurance for Service Dogs

Animal welfare has been at the centre of what we do at Agria since 1890. From lifetime cover for dogs, cats, rabbits and horses, to protection for over 100,000 adopted pets when they join their new homes.

Protecting the bond between animals and people is why we're here, and so we are proud to launch Agria Service Dogs Lifetime Insurance, enabling us to protect dogs with jobs, for life.

Service dogs are one in million. They are your right-hand canine, the partner who could save your life - or enable you to enjoy life in a way you didn't think was possible. They are there for you every moment of the day, and so we are now there for them, too!

As part of our important new partnership with Service Dogs UK, Agria have been lucky enough to sponsor service dogs Bear and Deputy, providing vital support for veterans and rescue dogs by ensuring that Service Dogs UK can continue to bring dogs into foster and work with them on their journey to becoming fully accredited PTSD assistance dogs. Find out what Bear and Deputy have been up to recently below:

Bear’s Adventures

Recently, Bear and his Veteran have embarked on some pawsome adventures, including a trip to see a sea of caravans in Birmingham — so many interesting smells and sights.

Bear has also been strutting his stuff down the high street - he has somewhat of a soft spot for shops with tasty treats.

But it's not all play, his assistance dog training is in full swing, and he’s loving every bit of it!

He was beaming with pride when he received his red jacket — his Veteran says it's like his superhero cape! Yet, he can't help but feel this milestone deserves a bit of a pay rise... in treats, of course.

Deputy visits Westminster

In his downtime, Deputy is all about beach walks and that sea breeze. And yes, he may even sneak in a biscuit or two when out for coffee with his foster parents!

Big tail wags for his recent trip to Westminster to cheer on rescue dogs. Such an inspiring day.

Training, treats, and making a difference - life’s good. Stay tuned for more adventures.

We couldn’t be more pleased to have such an incredible partnership with Agria. We are absolutely committed to giving our dogs the best insurance so we can quickly and efficiently deal with any issues without fuss. It is vital that our dogs can continue to give their life changing support to our veterans. Which is why it is so reassuring to know that Agria are ready to help when needed.

Agria Service Dog Lifetime Insurance protects dogs with jobs with lifetime cover for veterinary treatment they may need. With a choice of cover of up to £12,500 each year, should your dog suffer an injury or illness – at home or overseas, we're there for the vet bills, for life. This way, they can receive the treatment they need, and get back to work as quickly as possible – without causing you concern about the expense.

And when your dog is ready for a quieter life, we will be there to continue to protect them throughout their retirement.

We are immensely proud to be able to offer award-winning lifetime dog insurance, to the UK’s hardest working service dogs while they train, work and play.  These incredible, loyal dogs give their handlers everything they've got - every day, so by ensuring that they can access the vet care they need, when and wherever they need it, we support them to keep doing great things by getting back to work quickly.
