Proud sponsors of the Breed Rescue pens at Crufts!
We're thrilled to be sponsoring the Breed Rescue pens again at Crufts 2022
Run by the Kennel Club, Kennel Club Breed Rescue touches every breed in the UK, with each breed having one or more rescue organisations dedicated to that breed. These organisations help more than 20,000 dogs every year to find new homes. Knowing their breed inside out means that breed rescues are in a great position to give dogs that need a second chance the right care while they’re with them and find them a home that caters to their specific traits and needs.
The Breed Rescue pens at Crufts are an opportunity for different breed rescues to highlight their work, with a different organisation based at each pen on each of the four days of the event. With experts on hand to talk to visitors about the breed, it is an excellent opportunity for potential owners to think about the benefits of adopting a rescue dog instead of looking for a puppy.
‘In many cases, dogs that find themselves in the care of breed rescue have come from a loving home, where circumstances have changed, and they need another chance. We are really proud that many of the UK’s breed rescues are partners of Agria Pet Insurance, so we support their kindness and incredible work and protect the dogs they rehome with free insurance. Sponsoring the Breed Rescue pens at Crufts for a seventh year is a real highlight for the Agria team as another way to help these crucial organisations – and of course, have the pleasure of so many wonderful rescue dogs right next to our stand for four days!’ says Karen Green, Rehoming Channel Manager, Agria Pet Insurance.
‘Once again, a huge thank you has to go to Agria Pet Insurance for their continued sponsorship of the Breed Rescue pens at Crufts. The incredible support that breed rescues receive year-round from Agria’s specialist Rehoming Team makes a huge difference, and sponsoring the pens enables our breed rescues to highlight the benefits of adoption to the amazing Crufts visitors! No matter what their age, dogs being rehomed through Kennel Club Breed Rescue can be assured of the best possible future with lifetime pet insurance from Agria, and we are very grateful for that, and all that the Agria team does.’ says Anita Tabrett, Welfare Relationship Manager, Rescue and Welfare at The Kennel Club.
