How long do cats live?
How long cats live for can vary greatly. It is often said that a cat becomes old at about 12 years old, but many cats get older than that - some reach 20 years and beyond!

Between 12 and 15 years it is common for a cat to live. Some cats live much older than that and there are individuals who have reached 20 years and more.
Just as there are cats who live to be older than average, there are cats who unfortunately pass away earlier as well.
What to think about as your cat ages
Even old cats can get sick or injured and need veterinary care. It's important to have insurance for your cat, even when it gets older. At Agria, you can insure all cats regardless of age.
